What a pain in the ass subject. We hate talking about them but deep down inside we want people to know what we think. I wonder if there’s a newspaper that’s neutral in this country? It’s all about bashing on the other guy sort of a gang bang. I live in Toronto and we have elections coming up in about 4 weeks. All we hear about is don’t vote for Ford. I am voting for Ford and I don’t care what you think. I know he’s fat, his numbers don’t add up and he will not be able to pass anything if elected but you’re not giving me any other choice! The rest of the guys are the gang bangers trying to change people’s minds but it’s not working (well..it is a little bit) but I don’t see myself voting for anyone else: Pantalone needs a boosting seat, Rossi thinks he’s a mobster and Smitherman is too “happy” and doesn’t have a good platform. I cant believe the cheap shots that are being taken trying to divert votes from Ford. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if you can’t succeed on your own and need to team up with another party, you should not be elected, only the strong survive! I always told myself that I would vote for a healthy and smart mayor. Unfortunately Ford is fat (unhealthy), can’t speak properly, cheap (ok that could be good) and as mentioned earlier will not be able to pass any of his ideas. I’ve realized that although he has all these flaws, he’s the logical choice. I’d rather have someone that will not be able to do anything than someone who will screw me over.

I always thought that having a cat pass away/die on me would not affect me.I guess I was wrong. Is it because I actually cared about my cat, because I’ve witnessed my fathers suicide or a combination of both….

Life is fucked up and we are so busy everyday that we never really take the time to appreciate/acknowledge it. We are always busy with work, friends, going out and so on that we don’t notice the little things anymore.

I don’t believe in god but I want to thank someone that’s out there for making me realize that I should really enjoy and appreciate life…all this because my cat is now dead…I really wasn’t expecting that today. I guess life can always throw you a curve ball and fuck you up….

For those starting at a gym whether it’s p90x or something else, don’t let some gym rat intimidate you. Just focus on your own game and great results will come. When I was younger I was easily intimidated but no more if someone wants to show off in front of me, good for them, I have nothing to prove to anyone else but to myself.

I just started training again (after 3 months off…dont aks) and brought P90X to the gym. I play it on my iPod video and it’s great!!!! I get more motivation training at the gym vs training at home.

Everyday I make excuses just so I don’t train: I’m too tired, it’s too hot, too cold, too hungry….I’ve got to stop making excuses and kick my ass back into shape!!!!

Everyone can do it. It only takes a little bit of motivation….

Before I say anything else, I am a smoker although I do not smoke rothmans…I almost did work for them as I.T. Admin though.

Now after reading this article, I simply can’t help but wonder, who is dictating in this country? Up until today, I always though it was the goverment (legally speaking of course). After reading this article, i couldn’t believe my eyes!!! So let me get this straight, the government is constantly fighting against big tobacco compagnies because of the dangers of smoking, second hand smoke and just recently, 3rd hand smoke!!! Yes, yes, 3rd hand smoke. Third hand smoke is basically when your cigarette smoke penetrates your clothes/fabric and so on and then a child or non smoker is exposed to it: you smoked a cigarette, smoke transferred onto your clothes, you hold your kid, he’s exposed to toxins from the cigarette…

Anyways, let’s get back to the original subject, what the fuck is this all about? Cigarettes kill people the government is constantly fighting against the tobacco companies but when rothmans threatens to pull out from an expansion project therefore preventing the creation of 330 jobs in Quebec, the goverment drops his pants and prepares for penetration? WOW that’s what I call power!!!

So, is “our” health a concern for the goverment or not? I just can’t help but wonder???? What are they thinking now: let’s create 330 jobs and in the meantime kill a 1000 people of various forms of cancer related to the dangers of cigarettes??? What kind of mathematics is that????

On that note, I think I’ll just pop into my DVD player a great movie called “thank you for smoking” and light one up., a good old and inexpensive Peter Jackson king size light.

I’m someone who LOVES to eat so this personal challenge was not easy at all for me. I decided to start my fast on Sunday and it was the roughest day of my life. As per instructions in the pamphlet, we stayed home and watched tv. The first few hours were ok but in the afternoon I started felling dizzy and disoriented. I decided to suck it up and keep on going.

Everything went well except for what was on tv. I never realized until Sunday how much we are exposed to food on television. Everything is about food   (and I’m not talking about healthy stuff). It’s unbelievable how much we are exposed!!!! I was watching a season of 2 and a half men and for those who know the show, Jake (the kid), eats A LOT!!!! Same thing goes for all the commercials on tv, most of them are about food (not the healthiest ones either). Anyways, it’s been quite an experience on Sunday. Monday went pretty well since I went to work but once again it was difficult to stay focused. I work in technical support so I use my brain a lot to do my best to help individuals with their “technical” problems…I often need to think the dumbest possible and it’s not always easy. I don’t mean to insult anyone but often, we are required to think dumbest possible to find out what problem an individual is having with their hardware/software.

Anyways, the experience although painful was worth it as i have dropped one more jean size. I wasn’t expecting to drop a lot of weight but I am happy with the results. Would I do it again? I’m not sure. Not anytime soon that’s for sure. If you do want to drop some weight using the 2-day formula, I encourage you to do so. Just be warned that television has a lot (A LOT) of commercials about food and it’ll be difficult. Just stick to a comedy or something, pop in a DVD so you don’t have to endure the commercials.
