I have completed round one of P90X about 2 weeks ago, after a well deserved recovery week, I am back and loving it even more.
I have achieved nice results in my first round of P90X but failed my abs by not focusing on them. Round 2 is a totally different story, I feel a lot stronger, more motivated to train and I really enjoy my sessions. It’s such a great feeling when you’ve completed your set for the day, you got sweat dripping off of you and you look at yourself in the mirror and discover how much more ripped, bulky you look. These are results of an amazing strength training program: P90X!!!!!!!!!
I am now dedicated to Ab ripper x 3 times per week along with the rest of the exercised and am still doing my best at eating healthy.
I have also decided to stop using resistance bands and moved on to a pull up bar. Now, pull-ups are extremely difficult for me so I am using a chair to give myself that extra boost and I can already feel the difference in my P90X transformation. To those who think that pull ups are impossible or too difficult, just stick with it and don’t get discouraged, it’s always a work in progress and over time, you will see your progress as long as you keep on pushing and as long as you stay positive.
Like Tony Horton said: do your best, forget the rest.
I am also very grateful to have an amazing coach who is always available to answer my questions by email or through facebook: Jimmy Nelson so please visit his site: www.2620crew.com
I honestly think that Jimmy is a machine because he is always, ALWAYS training and he has achieved amazing results and looking at his before and after pictures motivates me to get the results he got.
So, to all you P90X fans or future P90X trainees keep on pushing and if you have any questions, contact your coach or ask to be assigned to my coach Jimmy Nelson. You can request for him to become your coach on his website www.2620crew.com
If reading this post helps you continue training or motivates you to pick up a copy of P90X or any other beachbody product, then my job is done and I am happy that I was able to help.
My girlfriend (please visit her website if you don’t believe me but watch out for the pictures) has also decided to join me on this amazing trip and I am very proud of her especially considering that last year, in August, she had a very serious knee injury that required extensive surgery for 8 hours. She completely tore her ACL, PCL, MCL as well as flipped her tibia. After 6 months of daily physio she can walk normally but has problems bending her knee and will never be able to run again.
My own injury in 2005 is nowhere near the seriousness of hers, I only shattered my elbow and cannot extend is completely anymore (missing about 20 degrees) and I can do clap pushups without problems.
Now if that doesn’t convince you to purchase the P90X program, I don’t know what will!!!!
Keep on pushing and good luck!!!!!
